Let's Play Disc Golf 🥏 in Dallas This Weekend!

Location: Elm Fork Shooting Sports 10751 Luna Rd, Dallas, TX 75220 ⭐️It was super fun! I’ve always loved target-based sports, so when I found a place to play disc golf, I just had to go. When you enter through the main gate (see photo 2), look for the sign and turn left (see photo 3). Turning right will take you to the static target range. ❗Both my partner and I were first-timers, so the staff arranged for us to start with Practice Traps. They gave us a brief introduction to the firearms and set us up at a shooting station. If you need earplugs, you can get them at the front desk. I’d recommend using them, as even though the noise is less outdoors, it can still be uncomfortable for your ears. ❗We then waited at the shooting station for our instructor. We were given a shotgun. Our instructor was an incredibly patient older gentleman who taught us step-by-step, from how to hold the gun, aim, load the shells, and shoot. He was very encouraging throughout the process. ⭐️I’ve shot guns before, mostly at static targets, but I found the moving targets of disc golf to be much more exciting. The Practice Trap discs are launched from a fixed position and angle, making it relatively easy. There are also more challenging directions to practice later. Plus, being outdoors means less noise and much fresher air compared to indoor shooting ranges. This place has so much to offer! In addition to disc golf, there’s archery, static target shooting, and even golf🏌️. It feels more like an entertainment resort.
