Lienzo, Valencia, Michelin 1 star 🌟
🌟 Lienzo: Valencia’s Michelin-Starred Mediterranean Gem—Worth Every Euro Last week, I spotted this spot recommended on Xiaohongshu and booked it right away—and Lienzo, a Michelin-starred Mediterranean restaurant, did not disappoint. We opted for the midday menú del día (daily menu) at €55 per person, which includes: 4 appetizers (with 3 small bites), 1 main course, 1 dessert, and bread (drinks extra). Trust me, it’s a steal for the quality. 🍽️ Standout Dishes Favorite Appetizer 🐝 The star of the starters: a goat cheese cannelloni (Canelón de queso de cabra) topped with a honey-garlic sauce. No strong “goat” tang here—just creamy, mild cheese elevated by sweet, floral honey. The kicker? The honey comes from the chef’s own beehives—unique and totally memorable. Sous-Vide Squid 🦑 A signature dish! Ultra-tender squid cooked low and slow, with a texture so soft and springy it’s almost like chewy udon noodles. Tossed in a bright, tangy sauce, it’s refreshing, flavorful, and so moreish. Main Course: Lamb Chops 🐑 Rich, well-marbled lamb with just the right amount of fat—tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The meat’s natural richness shines, paired with subtle Mediterranean herbs. ✨ Ambiance & Service Kitchen: A unique semi-open setup—our table let us watch the chefs prep, adding a fun, interactive vibe. Vibe: Elegant but relaxed, with attentive service that never feels stuffy. Location: Just a 10-minute walk from El Corte Inglés in Colón—easy to reach after a morning of exploring. Lienzo proves that Michelin-starred dining doesn’t have to be stuffy or overpriced. With local Valencian ingredients, creative dishes, and that unbeatable menú del día, it’s a must-try. I’ll definitely be back. 📍 Address: Plaça de Tetuan, 18, Bajo Derecha, 46003 Valencia #ValenciaMichelin #MediterraneanCuisine #FoodieFind
