Life đ§Šď˝A Rainy Day Encounter with a Choir âď¸âŞď¸
I was feeling overwhelmed and desperately needed a bold weekend adventure to recharge! But alas, the weather wasnât on my sideâit was pouring rain in Lyon. Still, my hunger for food and socializing couldnât be stopped. After a challenging journey, squeezing onto the funicular to get to the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, I was unexpectedly greeted by a choir! đś My soul felt cleansedâit was truly a blessing in disguise! ⨠đ¤ Notre-Dame De Fourvière is located atop Fourvière Hill. You can get there by taking F2 from the Vieux Lyon stationâitâs literally just a minute ride! đ I recommend taking a stroll around Vieux Lyon before heading upâitâs such a picturesque spot, but make sure the weatherâs good or youâll end up soaked like I did, haha! Once youâre on the hill, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of all of Lyon. The choir not only performed on stage but also joined in a group sing-along, which was so spiritually uplifting. đ đ¤ For my fellow pho lovers, I highly recommend Pho 69! đ The only downside is that itâs a bit pricey, but the portions are huge and so filling! Itâs located at đ 15 Rue dâAguesseau, 69007 Lyon. Note that it only opens around noon on weekdays! đ¤ Another restaurant I recommend is Amore e Sapori. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the portions are generous. đđ Iâve tried both the pasta and pizza, and they were great! If there are two of you, one pizza might be enough. Itâs located at đ 40 Cr de la LibertĂŠ, 69003 Lyon. Canât wait for my Halloween đ holiday! Even though itâs only four days, itâs something to look forward to after the crazy busy month of October! #LyonFood #LyonLife #France #NotreDameDeFourvière #FrenchLiving #WeekendVibes #MyDiary
