🚗 Little Rock, Arkansas – A Quick Stop on the Road! 🛣️

Decided to swing by Little Rock, the capital and largest city of Arkansas! With a population of just around 190,000, it’s cozy and laid-back. Since it was a Saturday, the whole city felt extra quiet—almost like we had the streets to ourselves. 🌆🧍‍♂️🌫️ Many people know Little Rock because of the historic Little Rock Nine event ✊🏾📚. Back in 1957, nine brave Black students attempted to enter the all-white Little Rock Central High School. The pro-segregation governor at the time, Orval Faubus, tried to block them… but President Eisenhower eventually sent in federal troops to ensure these students could safely attend. It was a major moment in the U.S. civil rights movement. 🎖️🕊️ Even though the city feels calm today, its history is powerful and still echoes through its streets. Visiting Central High (now a National Historic Site) is a must—if you have the chance. 🏫💭 A small city with a big story! ❤️📜 #USA#LittleRock#Arkansas #CivilRights #LittleRockNine #USHistory #RoadTrip #ExploreAmerica
