Little Rock, Arkansas
Flew from San Francisco with a layover in Houston—a total of 9 hours in the air. ✈️ Passed over countless mountains and cities along the way, reminding me once again how small we are in this vast world, and how strangely beautiful fate can be. 🌎✨ This journey left me feeling brighter and lighter. My pup’s first domestic trip was a success! 🐶 No strict checks—just brought him along. Everyone we met along the way was so friendly. Little Rock is incredibly quiet. Even at 9 AM on a Friday, the business district was almost completely silent—no traffic, no noise. 🏙️🤫 The people here are genuinely kind. Everyone at the office loves dogs, so now my little guy is getting a bit spoiled… maybe even a little too proud 😂 Food Explorations: 🍳 Big Bad Breakfast A local colleague brought me here—famous for their biscuits! I’ve been craving an omelet, so I ordered it two mornings in a row—absolutely delicious! Not too oily, perfectly seasoned. The coffee was just okay, but the fresh-squeezed orange juice was amazing 🍊❤️ Funniest part: they give out Clinton postcards with the bill—sassy touch 😏 Service was decent. Around $30 per person including tip. 👍 Recommended! 🍽️ Cache Restaurant An American-style restaurant by the river. Our server was a lovely lady in her 60s who seemed to know everyone there. I went with my dog and dined alone—still felt very well taken care of. I saw an elderly couple celebrating their anniversary—holding hands, the wife carrying flowers… so heartwarming. ❤️🌹 Growing old together is truly something to admire. The food was a bit salty (or maybe I just eat light), but the meat was great. Dessert came with a complimentary vanilla ice cream—my favorite! Portions were huge—definitely too big for one person. 🍰 I ordered a gin-based cocktail called “Respect the Elders” 👵🍸—color like a sunset, not too sweet nor too strong. Perfect for winding down after a long day. Service was exceptional. Around $100 per person including tip. #LittleRock #FoodDiary #ArkansasEats #TravelWithDog
