Catching the tail end of the Kansai cherry blossom season, avoiding the busiest times! Photo 1 Setagawa Park A beautiful spot we stumbled upon while walking to the next station due to a train suspension. ššæ It was so enchanting that we returned the next day to explore the other side of the riverbank. šø Photo 2 š Kawaguchi Park Another unplanned stop. The train passed through the streets, brushing past cherry blossom branches with petals falling onto the windows. ššæ We decided to get off and walk back immediately. šø Photo 3 š Lake Biwa Canal This canal stretches from Otsu City in Shiga Prefecture to Kusatsu in Kyoto. ššæ Rows of cherry blossom trees line both sides of the canal, forming a cherry blossom tunnel in spring. Heading up the mountain brings you to Mitsui-ji Temple. Even without a reservation for the Moon-Viewing Stage, the views from the hill are stunning! #Kyoto ššæ
