LLELA Nature Preserve in Dallas ❤️
👍The admission fee is $5 per vehicle, but pets are not allowed (which is common in many nature preserves). I spent an afternoon wandering around, and it was definitely worth it~ Be mindful of the closing time. If it's winter, the park closes at 5 p.m. So if you arrive at the entrance gate at 5 p.m., it will close automatically! Let me tell you, if you're late, you'll need a kind park ranger to let you out! Fortunately, we met an extremely kind elderly man. ❤️ LLELA Nature Preserve ✅ 201 E Jones St, Lewisville, TX 75057 This nature preserve is different from a state park; it's really more rustic. The paved roads for driving are fine, and the parking area is normal. However, the trails are more primitive. Wearing comfortable sneakers is fine, and the trails are not steep or hilly, but your shoes will inevitably get muddy. I recommend two trails: 🌈 The first one, reportedly the most popular, is the Cottonwood Trail, shown in pink in Figure 5. It's about 1.3 miles long, all through woods or meadows. ❤️ The main highlight is that there's a 19th-century log cabin inside, preserved in its original state. Well, the lady at the entrance said it's very impressive; they really like it. We parked and took the side trail directly to see the cabin and took photos. It's a good spot to check off your list; it takes about 20 minutes to go in and out. But we didn't feel like walking the rest of the trail, so we returned to our car and went to the second trail. #GetCloseToWildlife #DallasLife
