**Bratislava Flagship Restaurant** We didn't initially plan to dine here and instead intended to visit another local chain restaurant. Unfortunately, that restaurant was closed on New Year's Eve, so we stumbled upon this gem. It was a delightful surprise, and there's usually a queue during meal times.😁😁😁 The cuisine in Bratislava is a fusion of Austrian and Czech influences with local flavors. Having had our fair share of pork knuckles elsewhere, we decided to try three different dishes and a dessert here.😊😊😊 1. **Chicken Bouillon with Pasta and Meat Soup**: This soup was quite flavorful and reminiscent of dishes from my home country, especially the beef, tomato, and potato soup from my region. However, many locals opt for the **Garlic Cream Soup**, a local specialty available in most restaurants. We opted against it, considering our preference for creamy textures. 2. **Sausage**: An incredibly good value at just 6 euros. The taste was on the salty side; a slightly milder and sweeter version would have been perfect. The texture was a delightful mix between Taiwanese grilled sausages and QiuLin red sausages, and it was somewhat superior to German and Austrian sausages.👍👍👍 3. **Pork Ribs**: These had a sweet glaze, but there was a bit too little sauce, leaving some parts lacking in flavor. This made me nostalgic for the pork ribs I enjoyed at a restaurant in Prague. 4. **Bratislava Dumplings**: I didn't get a photo as it took a while to be served, but it was interesting. The menu had a picture, and we initially thought it would be a local version of dumplings with a vegetable filling. Instead, it turned out to be a dessert—a soft, flourless sweet (likely a type of sweetened bean paste dessert) with a soft texture, topped with three kinds of sprinkles: black sesame, crunchy peanuts, and powdered sugar. It was delicious, though it wasn't what we expected.😍😍😍 **Average Cost**: 15 euros per person +. **Overall**: Highly recommended! Despite the misunderstanding with the dessert, I'm eager to return and try the local specialty again. #Slovakia #RestaurantRecommendations #OverseasLife
