London! I hope there are more of these low-key yet amazing shops.
I don’t usually venture this far west, but I heard from a friend that the market at the station was bustling, so I made a dash for it! I found a restaurant with a lot of 🌟 on Google and went for it. Turned out to be a place where the owner is dedicated to running a great restaurant! The experience was wonderful, and I was satisfied with everything we ordered. If you’re in the area, come and give it a try! 🍜 Singapore Laksa 15.2 I checked Google before I went, and everyone said it was delicious, so I ordered it haha, and it was actually pretty good! The soup wasn’t traditionally authentic, but the curry-flavored broth was thick and not too salty, and it was packed with ingredients. Super satisfying to eat this bowl! 🐔 Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings 7 The owner said it’s the best-selling starter. It seemed like they used a bit of turmeric when marinating the meat, and it was really delicious! The seasoning was spot on. Each 🐔 wing was a good size, perfect for sharing with a group! 🍣 201 Kitchen Roll 13.8 🍣 Fusion Roll 12.2 You have to try this white person’s Japanese food haha! The first one is their signature dish, wrapped in grilled salmon on the outside with breaded shrimp, fish roe, and truffle mayonnaise inside 🤤🤤 How could this volcano roll not be delicious?!! 🍣 Sashimi Platter 19.2 I ordered the nine-piece platter to try out! Each piece was thick and fresh! The vinaigrette on the side with the lettuce was delicious~ 🦆 Traditional Duck Rice 11.2 Who understands what it means for your partner to insist on eating duck rice hahahahaha Luckily, it’s not bad! It’s not something you need to order specifically though hahaha 🤣🤣 💰 Average cost: 15-25 🚇 South Wimbledon, 3-minute walk 🚇 Wimbledon, 16-minute walk #MyFoodieFamily #London #LondonWimbledon #LondonLife #LondonFood #LondonFoodExploration #HiddenGemRestaurant #LoudlyRecommendingLocalFood #IAmAFoodieGuru
