London | A Hidden Italian Restaurant I’m Afraid to Be Discovered 😭

✅ A friend recommended this affordable Italian eatery; her family has been here five or six times. I had to check it out and see what the magic is all about. 1️⃣ Avocado Gamberetti Salsa Rosa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A half avocado salad with carrot shreds, lettuce, arugula, and sweet shrimp. 🦐 The sweet shrimp are on the small side but very fresh, maintaining a bouncy texture. The sauce is a cocktail sauce, similar to a mix of mayonnaise and mentaiko sauce. It’s quite refreshing, but the avocado meat is hard to scoop and doesn’t stand out much. 2️⃣ Spaghetti Bolognese ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A classic layered spaghetti with tomato meat sauce, rich in flavor and not greasy. The layers are cooked to perfection, with the tang of tomato blending with the aroma of cheese, plus minced meat. One bite is very satisfying, and it’s comforting when hot. 3️⃣ Nettuno ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In addition to traditional toppings like tomato, mozzarella cheese, onion, and olives, the tuna is the highlight. The generous portion of fish gives the pizza a strong seafood flavor, with a fibrous texture that’s quite substantial. It’s even better with spicy garlic oil. My favorite of the night! 4️⃣ Forgot the Name… (Picture 8) In the main course section, it’s made with chicken breast, tomatoes, and olives. The chicken is tender, and the tomato’s acidity keeps the dish from being too heavy. I think the sauce is quite good; overall, it’s decent. You can choose to have it with fries or vegetables (carrots, broccoli, potatoes). 5️⃣ Homemade Tiramisu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The soft ladyfingers soaked in coffee, layered with mascarpone cream, and dusted with cocoa powder on top make for a classic Italian dessert. The presentation has a strangely retro vibe, haha, very authentic. 🫶🏻 From the decor to the food, everything here is very Italian. The customers are mostly locals, and it gets busy as soon as they open.
