London | Back at CHISOU Again!
đ CHISOU Izakaya A Japanese restaurant with two branches in Londonâone in Knightsbridge and another near Selfridges. Walk-ins are welcome! đââď¸đŁ đĽ The go-to spot for sashimi! Every time I crave sashimi, I head to Chisou. Besides Ă la carte, their lunch sets are also a great deal. đŁ ăSASHIMI SETă Iâve tried both the lunch set and Ă la carte. The Ă la carte is betterâhigher quality fish, though slightly pricier. The lunch setâs sashimi slices are thinner, and the selection is more basic. đŁ ăSINGLE SASHIMIă Iâve tried seabass, sea bream, and salmon, but I still recommend the sashimi set. Single orders arenât as cost-effective. đŽđ¸ ăSEA URCHINă The best and freshest sea urchin in London, sourced from Iceland. It wasnât as fresh on my second visit, but for London, itâs still great value. đŁ ăSINGLE NIGIRIă Besides sea urchin, I highly recommend fatty tuna, maguro, and mackerel. Medium fatty tuna is perfectâany richer and it might feel too oily. đŁ ăNIGIRI SETă The selection varies daily. While fresh, itâs a bit limited and doesnât include fatty tuna. đą ăSUSHI BENTO BOXă Part of the lunch set, it includes sashimi, nigiri, and maki. You can add tempura, but the portion isnât huge. Better to share a sashimi or nigiri set. đŁ ăSALTED SALMONă Besides salted, thereâs also salmon grilled with Japanese sauce. The salted version isnât too salty and has no fishy tasteâperfect for sharing. đ¨ ăGREEN TEA ICE CREAMă A standard green tea ice cream (not matcha). Not too sweet, but matcha desserts would be the cherry on top! ¡ Google Rating: 4.5/5 Average Cost: ÂŁ60 per person #London #LondonChisou #LondonRestaurants #LondonJapaneseFood #LondonFoodie #JapaneseCuisine #LondonSushi #LondonSashimi #Sashimi #LondonFoodExploration
