London | πDog Island Brunch Recommendations
I had my first visit to hh, and I must say, it was really yummy! Definitely worth recommending and I had to jot it down. Brunch paired with drinks is indeed the secret to boosting happiness. The drinks were all exceptionally well-crafted, with just the right amount of alcohol and rich layers of flavor. The main dishes were equally delightful β not the kind of Brunch that feels like an afterthought: π Margherita Pizza: The pizza was amazing. The Mozzarella cheese had a rich dairy aroma, and the tomato sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy. Sprinkled with basil and oregano, it tasted incredibly fresh and not greasy at all. Itβs a very authentic Italian pizza, even though itβs the basic Margherita version. ππ Highly Recommended π: Smoked Salmon and Avocado Flatbread: This dish is a twist on Eggs Benedict. The salmon is smoked and paired with avocado, poached eggs, and Aleppo-spiced Hollandaise sauce. The Hollandaise sauce has a slight kick to it. The flatbread is chewy and delicious (the bread is really good πβοΈ). Cutting open the poached egg and letting the yolk flow over the salmon and avocado is truly satisfying π. We also ordered two croissant sandwiches, and I thought both were quite good: π Smoked Salmon + Lemon Cream + Avocado: The croissant is all-butter, with a rich buttery aroma. Itβs crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The smoky flavor of the salmon pairs perfectly with the refreshing lemon cream, making it not greasy at all. π Tomato + Buffalo Cheese & Arugula: This one has an Italian twist. The creamy cheese, combined with the sweet and tangy tomatoes and the slightly bitter arugula, makes for a very refreshing taste. Itβs perfect for those who prefer a lighter Brunch. #UKLife #London #UK #Brunch #BeautifulMeals #StudentEats
