The name of the store is Gallio, and it's just above the shopping mall at Canary Wharf Metro Station! The environment and service are great, and the most important thing is the taste! ! No matter what you order, every dish is delicious! I declare that I am united with Mediterranean cuisine and at a reasonable price, the entire menu does not exceed 20 dishes~
š¦Roasted black tiger, delicious! What a big one! Grilled shrimp yyds! ! The shrimp meat is super big and tender! The color of shrimp oil is so bright when served, it is difficult to wear makeup without makeup! !
š¦Fried squid, you must order it! tasty! ! Dip some sauce into your mouth - I know the taste of happiness! ! Food is best when eaten while itās hot!
š¦Roasted long-stemmed broccoli. I originally chose it with the thought of combining meat and vegetables. It turns out it is so delicious! ! show off! Crazy! The sauce underneath is also so delicious! There is a master in making vegetables so delicious! !
š¦Roasted lamb, poached eggs in yogurt sauce, served with bread, a big serving! Just looking at it made me feel full, haha, itās delicious! The mutton is very tender and the juices are locked in, without any smell! Eat it with the boiled eggs on top and yogurt sauce on the bottom, itās so happy! ! The bread tastes a bit like naan, oily and moist, and so fragrant that it makes you feel dizzy! !
š¦Beef pita bread, beef burrito, with a soft and thin layer of bread on the outside and a lot of beef inside, it is also a carbohydrate feast! !
š¦The desserts are also exquisite and delicious! As for drinks, I recommend the honey apricot one, itās very fragrant and delicious!
The Isle of Dogs also has such delicious real Mediterranean food, and itās great that itās so convenient! ! The taste is super good, the price is not high, and the photos are beautiful. Itās a good choice for sistersā dinner date or something!
Thanks Habiba and Jiri for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCons: Slow and inattentive service, mildly unprofessional behaviour, sides on set menu have little variation (mostly bread), ingredients on menu not fully listed for dishes e.g. soybeans in tabbouleh.
Pros: Chicken shawarma was seasoned well, truffle potatoes were quite nice and drinks were good.
I attended recently for a birthday meal and we had booked the bottomless dinner option. Our server was initially quite kind, and as a few of us were missing from the table we appreciated that our bottomless start time was pushed back.
However, once we ordered it took a long time for us to receive our drinks. Slow service for a bottomless booking makes it very difficult to enjoy. At times we were unable to flag anyone down to request more drinks, and our server was no where to be seen. With the long wait between drinks arriving, I requested an additional drink it was declined.
At some point, after having finished our starters for some time, we were asked if we were ready for our platters and said yes, however when we checked on this the order had not been put through and we received our main platters 15 minutes before our booking was supposed to end. Throughout this time we could see other tables in our section getting served and checked on more frequently.
Eventually, we were able to get the attention of a server in a different section, Aoife, who was immediately more attentive towards us. She listened to the above issues and was able to save what would have been a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately we overheard the server from our section talking negatively about our table to customers near us, despite not having spoken to our server (as she was no where to be found) and trying to resolve our issues discreetly, itās quite embarrassing and rude that this happened.
A huge thank you to Aoife for all your support in making this a lovely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY FAMILIES WITH BABIES TO COME HERE!
My wife had booked dinner for us here this evening. We booked a table online for 3 pax. When we got there we were told they would only seat us at a 2-seater because our "3rd person" is a 1-year old baby. This is fine and we could have made it work if there was a high chair readily available - but the restaurant had only 2 high chairs and they were taken. The food came pretty quickly, which was great but the only problem is the high chair was not available yet. We had ordered 3 small plates and the shawarma platter. With the baby on my wife's lap, we had barely made it into the small plates before the main platter came. When a high chair finally freed up, it was painfully obvious that there was just no more space on the 2 seater table to accommodate the plates that had built up. We asked the staff if we could combine the table next to us, which had been empty for the last half hour that we had been sat there. She said no as the baby was not a paying customer and she said we would have to return the high chair and put him on a normal chair if we wanted to combine tables. We found this logic unreasonable. She said they were fully booked and refused to budge even though I did remind her that if anything we had originally booked for 3. It was only when I insisted that there was no space for us to even eat that they finally relented and combined the tables. I understand sometimes catering to families with babies can be an inconvenience but that is no reason to be rude and be talked down to. We finished our meal and left as quickly as we could and will never come back here again. The food itself was pretty decent and have no complaints there. It's just unfortunate the service...
