London | New Japanese Restaurant in Covent Garden 🍤

📍Akatuki (Covent Garden branch) The newly opened Japanese restaurant in Covent Garden offers great value for money 🍣Deluxe sushi & sashimi The sushi box is both visually appealing and delicious! The portions are generous, with different price points to choose from. We ordered the 45pp set, which came to 90 for two people. A must-order! 🍱Grilled Eel donburi - Unagi Rice Bowl Incredibly, it’s just over 20 pounds. I recommend sharing it between two people; it’s too much for one. A whole eel, highly recommended. 🍤Lychee Shrimp Blossom - Lychee Shaped Shrimp Balls The shrimp is very tender, shaped like lychee, but the taste doesn’t really relate to lychee (can I say that?) Worth a try. 🔥Kaminari Flame Skewers - Flame Grilled Skewers Pretty much every table orders these, but they’re quite average, just with small tomatoes and beef tongue. Not particularly impressive. We also ordered some small dishes, but I won’t go into detail. The service charge is 12.5%, bringing the total to just over 200. We ended up packing the leftovers. Personally, I think you could eat your fill for around 60 per person.
