London | Owning this restaurant, you’re allowed to be proud
🍽️🌟🌿A particularly interesting West African cuisine, a novel experience, completely unexpected. After eating, I want to seriously thank the chefs. Some may think it’s overrated, but based on the day’s experience, I recommend giving it a try. I feel that if a meal can spark curiosity and a desire to explore a cuisine, it is truly worth it. 🌍🥳🍰The service is relaxed, and you can feel their pride and confidence in their dishes, which is quite touching. 🔹 Plantain Mosa Little balls made from plantain, eggs, and flour (tastes like the outer layer of takoyaki), served with tartare beef and a slightly spicy sauce, very delicious. 🔹 Gambian Stew Fried oysters, very fresh and fluffy, served with a fried sweet bell pepper and tomato sauce. 🔹 Moi Moi Tastes like tofu, made with black-eyed beans and chili, slightly spicy (almost not at all), very clever. Served with grilled mackerel, after one bite I widened my eyes in surprise with my mom, how could it be so good! The crispy shell is as thin as paper, and the inside fish is extremely tender. The sauce at the bottom is vatapá. 🔹 Yassa Monkfish with king oyster mushrooms, light and tender, the foam sauce complements the dish perfectly. 🔹 Tatale (extra upgrade) A creamy pancake with caviar and cashew goat cream. I thought it would be ordinary, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. 🔹 Jollof Rice 🍴🍽️🥂So fragrant, a big satisfaction for Asian tastes! Rice cooked with tomato sauce, a hint of spicy seasoning added, topped with crispy fried rice, and an overall smoky flavor. A booklet was provided to explain this dish. When served, there’s smoke when the lid is opened. Served with Hereford beef, XO sauce, carrots, and a sauce called Côte d’Ivoire aubergine sauce. 🔹 Suya Beef tongue skewers grilled over an open flame, served with a marrow sauce. The grease and charcoal grilled aroma are divine. 🔹 Zobo Crushed watermelon ice, refreshing and nice. 🔹 Café Touba Sweets Uda is a spice, and the dessert has a woody ice cream flavor, better than any I’ve had before! The thin slice on top is chocolate, and the center of the mousse is coffee-flavored, a highly accomplished dessert. 🔹 Additional complimentary dessert, super delicious… Caramel biscuits and peanut butter flavor, silky smooth. Black sesame flavored little cakes, full of aroma, the texture is a bit like poria cake and a bit like soft candy, slightly chewy, I love it. The tableware for each dish shows that it has been carefully designed. We didn’t have wine pairing that day, but I would definitely try it next time. 💰 320 pounds for two people (including menu upgrade + service charge) #GlobalEatingSquad #Michelin #London #LoveIsEatingManyMealsTogether #WinterDaydreams #LondonLife #LondonFoodExploration #FoodDiary #EatThisBurstOfFlavor
