London | The Tastiest Greek Restaurant š The Life Goddess
š The Life Goddess Hands down, the best Greek eatery in London. Itās not your typical Mediterranean fine dining; the decor is cozy, and thereās a cute little deli. The food is authentic, great value for money, and the owner is super nice. š I visited the main store on Store Street, near the British Museum. Thereās also a branch in Covent Garden, but the owner is usually at the main store, which I feel has a higher quality. š« ćTZATZIKI & PITAć A must-order dip for any Greek meal. Highly recommend it over nonos at Kingās Cross. The tzatziki was even fresher on my second visit, and their pita bread is freshly baked with homemade olive oil ā delicious even on its own! š„« ćMEATBALLSć These meatballs are a super recommendation, served with tzatziki yogurt and pita bread. You get three in a bowl, and theyāre a safe bet every time. š ćLAMB SHOULDERć Tender red wine stewed lamb, with a very Mediterranean sauce. It comes with carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, and a hint of red wine thatās not too overpowering. Itās a winner. š„© ćBEEF STEWć This tender beef stew is even more recommended than the lamb. Itās served with rice, and the sauce they make for their main courses is spot on. Highly recommended. š„ ćGREEK YOGURTć I went twice in one week just for this authentic Greek yogurt. Itās incredibly smooth and rich in milk flavor ā itās the real deal. š· ćGREEK RED WINEć My first time trying Greek red wine, and itās a world apart from French or Italian. Itās very dry and has a light color. Google Rating: 4.5/5 Average Cost: Ā£40-50 #London #LondonGreekCuisine #LondonFood #LondonFoodie #LondonRestaurants #LondonPlog
