London | TOAD is worth the trip, despite the distance!

The weather in London has been amazing lately! It's the perfect motivation to venture out and grab some bakes! ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و 🥐 Random thought: Does anyone want to have a bakery chat? 😆 I'm up for anything—whether it's a casual chat or a serious discussion! 🍞 TOAD is located in South London, in Peckham. It's a tiny bakery with just a few tables outside, like a neighborhood gem. Living near a great bakery must be pure bliss! On Sundays, they're closed, so Saturdays get super busy. We waited for half an hour at noon to get our bread, and some items were already sold out! 😭 So if you want more options, go early! You can enjoy your bread on the little spot outside UAL, soaking up the sun. 🌞 🥯 Out of the five breads we tried, I highly recommend the Bacon Cheddar Quiche and the Apple Custard Danish (top left and bottom right in the picture). The pastry is perfectly flaky and crispy, just how I like it! 😍 I was a bit disappointed with the Cinnamon Bun (the cinnamon flavor was too mild and the texture was dense) and the Coconut Iced Finger (too sweet), but maybe they just didn't suit my personal taste. 🥲 🍴 Overall, TOAD is definitely worth a visit! Their Instagram is always teasing amazing breads, but you have to get there early! The staff are super nice and patient about explaining their products (which is probably why the lines are so long, hahaha). As my friend says, this is a bakery with heart! 😊 🍴 TOAD Bakery #LondonShop #LondonLife #LondonCoffee #UK #BreadLover #LondonFood #LondonFoodie
