London | Today I Ate a Spring Garden

I’ve been to this Greek restaurant four times in a month—I just can’t get enough of their delicious sashimi. Today, we decided to try the “one fish, many ways” dish that’s been so popular. The waiter introduces the fish caught that day, and you choose a whole fish to be weighed and prepared in various styles by the chef. The bigger the fish, the more diverse the dishes. We went for the pink sea bream today. 🐟 🐟 **First Course: Fish Soup** The lemony hot fish soup is super comforting. The fish in the soup is raw, which looks a bit odd but tastes amazing. As a Chinese person, I couldn’t help but worry about mixing raw and hot foods, thinking it might upset my stomach. Haha, but there was no discomfort at all! 🥄 🐟 **Second Course: Sashimi** I’ve recommended this a million times. It’s a must-order every time I visit, and we always go for the large portion! 🍣 🐟 **Third Course: Grilled Fish Head and Tail** Seasoned only with salt, the fish is super fresh. However, the eyes and fins weren’t fully cooked and had a bit of blood, which gave off a slight fishy taste. 🍖 🐟 **Fourth Course: Grilled Fish Fillet with Fricassee** The grilled fish fillet is all about the natural flavor of the fish, while the Fricassee is amazing—I’ve ordered it separately before. It’s a vegetable pot made with lettuce, onions, and fennel, giving a refreshing yet creamy feel. 🍲 **Seaweed Millefeuille** The seaweed millefeuille is another must-order. It has a rich and varied texture. 🍰 Overall, I still prefer ordering à la carte, but trying the “one fish, many ways” is a unique experience. The fish soup is only available with the whole fish, while the sashimi can be ordered separately. 🗺️ **KIMA** #LondonFoodie #LondonDiningGuide #LondonRestaurants #LondonFoodRecommendations #LondonCuisine #GreekFoodInLondon #AtmosphericRestaurants #HiddenGemsInLondon #RestaurantRecommendations
