London | When It Comes to Claypot Rice, I Think of This Place!

📍 Pot and Rice, the go-to claypot rice specialist in London, keeps coming up with new dishes that lure me back time and again. Each time, I find myself torn between old favorites and new temptations... This time, I just gave in and ordered them all, determined to taste every single one, even if it meant taking home leftovers! 🍲 Lobster and Crab Roe Claypot Rice | £39.9 This new dish I tried features an entire lobster tail—talk about generous! The seasoning is quintessentially Cantonese, with that garlicky soy sauce flavor that’s unmistakable. Trust me, once you taste it, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about! 🍲 Japanese Wagyu Claypot Rice | £39.9 No matter how many times I have this Wagyu rice dish, I still love it. The beef is tender and succulent, and when you mix it with the raw egg and stir everything together, it becomes that comforting, familiar, and delicious meal we all know and love. Sadly, it seems to be off the menu for now, and I can only hope it makes a comeback soon! 🍲 Malaysian Seafood Claypot Rice | £18.9 Surprisingly affordable, this dish is packed with so much seafood that the pot can hardly contain it all, and it’s under £20! The flavors are distinctly Southeast Asian, with a hint of spiciness and sweetness. I’d recommend adding less soy sauce since the dish is already quite flavorful on its own. 🍝 Curry Chicken Udon | £14.8 A must-order every time I visit. It’s not overly unique, but it’s just done so well that it always makes me crave it. #ClaypotRice #MyFoodDiary #Foodie #LondonFood
