London BOXCAR | Niche Bakery π₯
This place is close to Marylebone and has two locations, baker&deli and bread&wine. I went to the baker&deli today. I suggest you come early, preferably before 12 noon. Since I arrived at lunchtime, I helplessly watched the last matcha bun get bought by someone else, and their popular cinnamon buns were sold out tooβ¦ Egg mayo & chive: πππππ Surprisingly delicious! Itβs like a sandwich, but the crispy pastry on both sides is so crunchy! The taste of eggs and chives makes it crispy outside and tender inside. Itβs nothing fancy, but you canβt stop eating it. Chocolate croissant: ππ Probably the driest croissant Iβve ever hadβ¦ As you can see from the picture, the chocolate filling is completely solid! The bread inside isnβt very soft either, and the outer crust is pretty crispy, but because the filling isnβt spread evenly, many parts donβt taste like chocolate at all. Definitely not recommended! Lamb sausage roll: ππππ Quite large, with a sweet and savory flavor, a subtle lamb taste, and itβs quite aromatic. I believe it would be even better if it could be heated. βοΈ Latte: πππ Just average, nothing surprising, but if you savor it, you can taste a faint caramel biscuit flavor (or maybe itβs just my imagination). There are still quite a few seats available after noon, but I wouldnβt recommend it for working, as the tables are too small and the seating isnβt very comfortable. It can get a bit noisy during peak hours, but it should be nice to sit outside in the summer. π° Average cost: Β£10-15π· #LondonBakery #LondonCafe #boxcar #LondonFood #HiddenGemDessertShop #BreadLover #LondonLife #LondonExploration #CheckIn100Cafes
