London Eye 🎡 Best Paid Viewing Spot
📍 Tattershall Castle Located by Victoria Embankment, this spot is easily found by searching "Tattershall Castle" on Google Maps (see detailed address in images 7 and 8). 🍹 This riverside "restaurant" is actually a pier extending into the Thames, transformed into an open-air dining area. It offers an unobstructed, close-up view of the London Eye. The venue serves drinks, beverages, and classic British pub fare like fish and chips. The atmosphere is super chill, and on a nice day, you can sit here for hours. However, it can get fully booked on weekends. 👀 Before "boarding," staff conduct bag checks to ensure there are no sharp or dangerous items. 📷 For the best photos, sit in the row closest to the Thames—the London Eye will be right behind you for that perfect shot. However, if you’re prone to motion sickness, avoid sitting by the river! Although I don’t usually get motion sickness, I could still feel a slight sway on the pier, but it was minimal and almost negligible. 💰 Pricing : Drinks and food are 2-3 pounds more expensive than at regular restaurants and pubs. For two of us, a cider and an orange juice came to 11 pounds (about 2 pounds more per item). Essentially, you’re paying for the prime location. #LondonTravel #LondonEye #LondonPub
