London Food | Let’s Try the British National Dish: Fish & Chips! 🐟🍟
One of my sister’s biggest wishes for this trip was to try authentic fish and chips — so of course, we made it happen! And I have to say… it really did live up to the hype 😍. We picked a highly-rated spot near Waterloo 🎯. Just a 5-minute walk from the station — super easy to find! We ordered the classic fish & chips with two cups of tap water 💧… because nothing says “British experience” like that, right? 😄 There was a bit of a wait since everything is freshly fried 🕒, but it was totally worth it! The cod was flaky and crispy, and the chips were golden and perfectly crunchy. I’ve had soggy, underwhelming fish before… but not this time! 🎉 You can squeeze fresh lemon 🍋 or add tartar sauce to taste — so good! After the meal, we took a lovely stroll along the river 🌉, with dreamy views of Big Ben and the London Eye all lit up at night 🌃✨. It never gets old — truly, “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life.” 🖋️❤️ 📸 Menu attached for reference! 🛎️ Featured Dish:Classic Fish & Chips💷 Price: ~£14⭐ Rating: 8.5/10 #UK #London #Travel#LondonEats #BritishFood #FishAndChips #UKTravel #FoodReview #LondonLife #ComfortFood
