London Restaurant Recommendation: OPSO
This restaurant is well-known for its weekend brunch. I originally wanted to try KIMA, its popular sister restaurant, but to play it safe, I decided to start with OPSO. Appetizer: We ordered a kebab with Greek yogurt, served per person. It was made with a wrap as the base and tasted average. Main Course: Truffle Lamb Shank, the black truffle lamb shank risotto is truly the signature dish everyone recommends. It's insanely fragrant! Especially when the waitress brings out the pot of risotto and carves the lamb shank right in front of you, the aroma of the lamb fat and meat fills the air. Finally, they grate a large piece of cheese over the rice. The rice is cooked just right, with the lamb being tender and paired with juicy mushrooms. It is said that the lamb shank is stewed for twelve hours, and everyone raves about this signature dish. T-Bone Steak, the portion is generous. They showed us the dry-aged steak before cooking, and we chose medium doneness. The green sauce on the side was very refreshing and balanced the richness. This dish was also average. Dessert: Cheesecake, a Basque-style cheesecake, with sour fruit jam that perfectly balances the sweetness. The texture is dense, fresh, and it almost feels like you can taste the freshness of freshly churned milk. The interior decoration is of the natural wood variety, the arrangement between seats ensures privacy, and the service is excellent. The Truffle Lamb Shank is definitely a dish worth coming back for. Next time, I'll try their popular weekend brunch and their sister restaurant KIMA. #brunch #LondonFood #GoodEatsLondon #OPSOLondon #ExploreLondon #UK #LondonLife
