👑 London SE Adventure: See "The Queen’s Monsters" at Hall Place!
🌸 Hall Place and Gardens Can’t wait for warmer weather so we can revisit Hall Place and Gardens in Bexley, Southeast London! 🌞 Last time we went was summer before last—and it was magical. The most unforgettable part? The "Topiary Beasts" planted and sculpted in 1953 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation! 🦁🐉 These adorably fierce hedge creatures stand guard over the estate, each one trimmed to perfection. Beyond the beasts, there’s rolling greenery and a butterfly garden that instantly melts stress away. 🦋💚 The grass "maze" (super simple—perfect for kids to burn off energy by running wild!) is a parent’s dream. 🏃♂️💨 And guess what? April 7th brings the Fizz Pop Rainbow Bubbles event—totally taking the little ones! The main building is a Grade I-listed Tudor mansion from 1537, featuring unique flint-and-stone checkerboard walls, a stunning 17th-century red-brick courtyard, and a jaw-dropping plaster ceiling added later. 🏰✨ Pro tip: Booking ahead is a MUST—entry is limited to certain times (we missed it last visit!). Also? Dreamy wedding spot—historic inside, fairytale outside! 💍🌿 Fun fact: During WWII, an American soldier stationed here intercepted and decoded Nazi messages, helping crush the regime. History nerd approved! 🎖️🔍 📍 Hall Place and Gardens Bourne Rd, Bexley DA5 1PQ #LondonKids #LondonFamilyFun #LondonLife #LondonWithKids #LondonOutdoors #LondonGreenspaces #LondonParks #LondonWeddingVenues
