π πͺΌπ Long Beach Aquarium Day Trip π πͺΌπ
It's about a 40-minute drive from Irvine to Long Beach ποΈ We set off at 10 am π and first stopped by a Michelin-rated Thai restaurant in Long Beach for lunch π₯£ π€ Chiang Rai: The Tom Yum soup noodles were greatο½The steak was just okayο½The green papaya salad was very refreshing and appetizing. π¬ After a satisfying meal, we headed to the Aquarium of the Pacific You can buy tickets directly at the entrance for adults at $44.95 and for children aged 3-11 at $29.95 The aquarium has a good variety of marine life. The most novel experience was being able to touch jellyfish πͺΌ, sharks π¦, starfish, and more. The jellyfish had an incredibly soft touch. There were also penguins π§, seals π¦, sea turtles π’... Reptile House: They had my favorite giant tree frogs πΈ, so cute that I'm considering getting one at home. There were also some lizards π¦, salamanders, and geckos. In summary, the Long Beach Aquarium is a great place to visit with kids. On the way home, we bought Main Chick π, which was too spicy. I still prefer Church's Chicken. #LongBeachLA #AquariumOfThePacific #Irvine #NorthAmericanFriedChicken
