My very first deep-sea fishing trip and I caught a Red Snapper!! πβ¨ Is this what they call beginnerβs luck?! π π€Ώ Our super cool diver went down twice and came back with a FULL basket β plus scallops as big as bowls?! π Iβve never seen anything like it! π¨βπ³ The captain was amazing β he cleaned and prepared everything right on the boat π₯οΈπ΄ The scallops were so sweet and tender, and we made fresh sea urchin sushi with nori and riceβ¦ literally melt-in-your-mouth goodness π£π π Fishing Tips: You NEED a fishing license πͺͺ β get a 1-day pass (~$25) at Big5 Sporting Goods Lather up with sunscreen 𧴠Take motion sickness pills 30 mins before boarding π π OOTD Advice: Bring a jacket β it gets windy once the boat starts moving π§₯ Trust me, wear WHITE! It looks amazing in photos against the blue sea πΈπ π¦ The captain said lobster season is coming soonβ¦ and I am already excited!!
