Long Beach’s Ocean Beach Park is a Parenting Paradise!✨ 🌊 When it comes to beaches in Long Island, locals swear by Long Beach and Jones Beach! But I personally prefer Long Beach—it’s cleaner and has softer sand! This summer, traveling with my little one, I chose Ocean Beach Park in Long Beach without hesitation! 🌞 I actually passed by here last summer, but my baby was still under 1 year old, and the weather was terrible. We only stayed briefly and left, but I’ve been longing to come back ever since. This time, we were fully prepared! We brought snacks, toys, and spent a whole afternoon playing on the beach—pure bliss! The kid dug sand and played with balls, while I relaxed under the umbrella, enjoying the sea breeze. It was an absolute joy! 📌 Weekdays are the best time to go! Fewer crowds, more fun When the waves are big, you can watch coaches leading a group of surfers riding the waves🏄‍♀️—it’s so cool! By the sea, there’s so much to see: grandparents chatting leisurely, girls sunbathing and reading books, kids chasing bubbles around.
