It’s totally a local neighborhood spot—we felt like the only tourists there, lol! The restaurant is dimly lit with an intimate vibe, mostly illuminated by candlelight—perfect for a relaxed evening. 🕯️✨ 🥖 First, they served a basket of bread—simple but tasty, no weird spices, and the olive oil & vinegar dip was delicious. A great start to the meal! We ordered two classic pasta dishes—one red sauce, one white sauce: 🍝 Mare Chiaro: A red sauce seafood pasta with penne. The garlicky tomato sauce was rich and paired with plenty of fresh seafood—so satisfying! 🧈 Panna & Funghi: A creamy mushroom white sauce with fettuccine. Decadently buttery, with earthy mushrooms. A sprinkle of chili flakes would’ve added a nice kick! Final thoughts: We left full and happy! La Pergoletta offers great ambiance and comforting food—a solid choice for a casual yet romantic meal.
