Los Angeles|Afuri Ramen 🍜✨
Open kitchen where you can watch chefs hand-pull noodles – you can even choose noodle firmness! Around $40 per person. 1️⃣ Yuzu Shoyu Ramen Light yuzu flavor, but soy sauce stands out more. Broth is tasty and refreshing! Extra pork chashu was just okay. 2️⃣ Yuzu Ratan Ramen The richest and most flavorful of the three – best tasting broth!❤️😊 3️⃣ Yuzu Tsuyu Tsukemen (Dipping Noodles) Comes with braised pork (chashu) – well-seasoned and good. Most anticipated bowl, but ended up just average. Sauce didn’t coat noodles evenly, so some bites were bland. 4️⃣ Tori Karaage Excellent fried chicken! Thin crispy coating, juicy thigh meat. Topped with shiso flakes, served with tangy dipping sauce – very appetizing.💕 5️⃣ Soft Shell Crab Roll Soft-shell crab, avocado, and other fillings – nice texture variety. Overall: We all agreed the fried chicken and soft-shell crab roll were better than the ramen.😁 Worth trying if you’re passing by, but not worth a special trip. #RamenLA #JapaneseRamen #LAEats #AfuriRamen 🥢
