Los Angeles|Castaway|Romanced by Sunset
The firepit on the cliffside terrace reflected in everyone’s eyes like a sea of stars. As dusk fell and downtown lights unfolded beneath us, the whole city seemed to light up just for the birthday girl. We started with the Paid Vacation cocktail 🍹 A perfect harmony of pineapple and rum, with a playful chili-powder rim — like sipping a whole tropical getaway. Crab Cake 🦀 Golden crust hugging sweet, tender crab strands. A drizzle of lemon cream sauce brought the taste of the ocean rushing in. Truffle Popcorn Chicken 🐔🍿 Truffle aroma hit like a scent-bomb. Each mini chicken ball was surprisingly juicy — couldn’t stop sneaking more. Wagyu Zabuton 🥩 The marbling of the Wagyu glowed under the firelight. On the tongue, the fat melted like silk, lingering with a hint of fruitwood smoke. Dry Aged Angus Rib Eye Concentrated dry-aged flavor exploded in the mouth — crispy-edged, tender inside, with sea salt crackling gently between teeth. Paired with Napa Valley red wine, it was like taste buds setting off fireworks 🎆. When the server brought out the red velvet cake through the twilight, candlelight flickering over cream roses against the glittering LA skyline, we raised our glasses and whispered, “Happy Birthday.” Personal rating: 8/10 (2 of those points are purely for the stunning view and vibe ✨) #LAEats #LADateNight #DateNightLA #LADining #FoodExploration #FoodReview #LAFoodie
