Los Angeles|Oste|Autumn Vibes Are Here—Let’s Go on a Date! 🍂✨
Autumn winds swirl the fallen leaves, breathing in the crisp night air— what better time for a romantic evening out? ✨ Even on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was bustling. Guests gathered around cozy tables, enjoying a rare mid-week escape. At the table behind us, two models with delicate makeup sipped rosé and shared gossip with passion. Beside us, a man ate his salad with refined elegance, his earring catching the light distinctively. A young couple in hoodies, athletic and relaxed, leaned back in their chairs, chatting lazily between bites. Goat cheese lovers can’t miss the Roasted Baby Beet Salad 🥗🐑 Vibrant red beets paired with goat cheese that tastes like Greek yogurt, drizzled with fragrant vinegar and extra virgin olive oil 🫒— unexpected and intriguing! The Sophia Style Mussels are rich with butter and garlic 🧈🧄 Each mussel plump and juicy—absolutely flawless. The Grilled Octopus Leg was tender with a smoky char 🐙 Served with cauliflower purée and pesto— everything in perfect harmony. Frutti De Mare is a squid ink pasta with seafood 🦞🍝 A bit ordinary—turns out seafood with red sauce isn’t really my thing. Tortellini Di Carne features Italian meat dumplings 🥟 Stuffed with short rib and glazed with generous Parmigiano 🧀 A tad rich but still delicious. I’ve heard Pinsa is like pizza’s close cousin 🍕 Didn’t dig too deep into it, but we ordered the Prosciutto version— topped with a mountain of arugula that hid treasures beneath: savory prosciutto and cool mozzarella, finished with two swirls of truffle oil. Heavenly. Absolutely divine. Sometimes I suspect Italian and Xi’an cuisine share deep roots— carbs paired with carbs paired with more carbs 😂 I drifted into a deep, food-coma sleep on the passenger seat ride home.
