Los Angeles|The Best Yakitori is in Torrance, of course! 🍢
As the area with the largest Japanese population in North America, Torrance is packed with hidden Japanese gems. Today I’m recommending one of my absolute favorite yakitori spots 🧡 🦑 Must-try: Simmered Squid Leg in Liver Sauce (wrapped in foil) The menu describes it as “simmered squid leg with liver sauce” — not totally clear what kind of liver, but the server warned us it might be “unusual” ⚠️ True, the first bite was a bit strong, but it quickly grew on me—especially paired with hot sake 🍶 So addictive and perfect with drinks! 🍡 All their yakitori is super delicious 🤩 The chicken meatballs served with raw egg dip are a standout. I’ve also heard their oden (hot pot) is great. Plus, I love that their menu has photos of every dish—so helpful! Highly recommend coming for dinner—much livelier than lunch, with great vibes 🍻 In a nutshell 👉 Perfect for hanging with friends, date nights, or even solo post-work drinks. 📌 Torihei Yakitori Robata Dining 📍 1757 W Carson St Ste A, Torrance, CA 🕔 Weekdays: 5 PM–10 PM | Weekends: 12 PM–10 PM P.S.
