Los Angeles|The Spot You Need to Arrive Early for Japan Air-Flown Uni!

I kept seeing this place online—the plating and ingredients looked so tempting! They claim to use fresh uni flown in from Japan, along with high-quality Japanese rice. Since uni shipments are limited, many say it sells out fast if you come late. So, I made sure to visit right at opening on a weekday lunch! 😄⏰ First time here, and I wanted to try everything~~ 【5 Handroll Combo】 ✨ Spicy Tuna Roll: Tuna with crispy onions 🌶️ ✨ Chopped Salmon Roll: Fresh and flavorful salmon bits 🐟 ✨ Scallop Roll: Bay scallops with flying fish roe—bursting with juicy texture! ✨ Chopped Yellowtail Roll: Tender and smooth yellowtail ✨ Blue Crab Roll: Blue crab meat + avocado 🥑🦀 This set is a great deal! Individually, each roll costs around $7–8, but the whole set is only $29! The ingredients are fresh—so you really can’t go wrong. ✅ 【5 Additional Handrolls (Ordered Individually)】 🌶️ Spicy Yellowtail Roll: Yellowtail with green pepper, cilantro, burdock root, lemon peel, and yuzu soy sauce—refreshing with a hint of spice. 🥖 Banh Mi Roll: Vietnamese banh mi inspired! Longfin tuna with pickled daikon, chili, garlic chili oil, lime zest, and cilantro—uniquely delicious! They even have a bossam-style roll… so creative! 💛 Golden Uni Roll: Uni + 24K gold foil + pickled wasabi + shiso leaf ✨ I ordered this just as the owner was opening a fresh box of uni—got to taste uni straight from the package! So sweet and amazing! For the price, it’s totally worth it (some places charge similar for Santa Barbara uni). 🖤 CUT Roll: Tuna + Uni + Caviar—a luxurious layered flavor bomb! 🦞 Lobster Roll (seasonal special): Peanut sauce, seafood hoisin, sriracha, scallions, and crispy onions—rich with a Southeast Asian twist! They seem to have lots of seasonal rolls—can’t wait to come back and try more. 【Uni Toast】 Japanese white toast toasted crisp, topped with herb mayo, salmon roe, nori, and uni—an absolutely decadent bite! 🍞💫 【Soy-Marinated Shrimp】 So well-marinated and packed with flavor! I was pleasantly surprised to see this on the menu—I never miss soy shrimp when it’s available! 🦐❤️ Overall, ingredients are seriously fresh and prices are reasonable. It’s not fine dining, so no need to be overly critical—for what it is, it’s excellent! Their sashimi bowls also look amazing—next time I’ll come with coworkers for a quick lunch try! 🍱👥 📍 Temaki Society 351 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013 🅿️ Park at Grand Central Market garage—only $5 for under 90 mins. Street parking is nearly impossible and expensive elsewhere! #LocalFoodFavorites #LosAngeles #LALife #LAEats #JapaneseFood #UniLover #HandRollHeaven
