Los Angeles | New Upscale Korean Restaurant✨
Recently saw that Ktown has a new spot with high-quality soy-marinated crab!! Had to check it out! This place is really refined—even the side dishes are plated with such care~ 🥗 I used to not pay much attention to banchan (side dishes) when eating Korean food, but as I’ve grown more open to trying everything, I’ve come to appreciate the depth of detail. A Korean restaurant that makes fresh side dishes daily with quality ingredients? You know the food is going to be good! 【Abalone Stone Pot Bibimbap】 Thick, generously sliced abalone—fresh, chewy, and full of bounce~ The bibimbap comes with a hearty mix of veggies—add your own gochujang and mix it all up~~ So delicious! 🍲 【Cheese Beef Short Ribs + Whole Grilled Squid】 What an incredible combo—everything I love in one dish! The staff proudly asked, “Do you know Sun Nong Dan? Our meat quality is much higher—we use beef that’s twice as expensive.” 😂 Gotta say, the beef was slow-cooked until melt-in-your-mouth tender~ Rich and satisfying! 🥩🦑 【Beef Short Rib Soup】 This soup has a strong, savory doenjang (soybean paste) flavor—so good! It’s not a light broth but something deeply meaty and warming~ Highly recommend! 🍖❤️ Wanted to try the soy-marinated crab, but the staff said a big group of 16 finished it all yesterday 😭… Guess I’ll have to come back next time! Also, they offer a three-tier lunch special—great value for midday! Plus, with all the side dishes and free pumpkin porridge, even one main dish will leave you full and happy! 🎃💛 Olle Korean Cuisine 745 S Oxford Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 What’s your must-try dish at a Korean restaurant?
