Los Angeles | Sharing My Recent Favorite Comfort Food in Koreatown 🥘
Tofu stew and bibimbap in LA's Koreatown have always been my go-to comfort meals, and now I’ve got a new favorite: (Fen Ai Nian)! When the weather cools down, nothing beats something warm and cozy in the evening—you know the feeling! ❄️🍜 Just check the photos—I’ve visited so many times, you can tell it's a regular spot for me. Whether I’m grabbing takeout or dining in, the flavor is always on point. (And that's not counting the quick lunch breaks where I ate and ran without snapping pics 😅) My most-ordered dish is the Premium Beef with Potato Noodles – spicy flavor with sesame sauce. (Occasionally I switch it up with knife-cut noodles 😆) That sesame sauce is everything—so fragrant and satisfying. It just warms you up from the inside! 🖤 The Braised Chicken is also amazing—tender, flavorful, and falls right off the bone. When I'm craving something extra, their fried skewers really hit the spot. The Sweet & Spicy Chicken Skeleton (QQ) is usually spot-on and a must-order when I'm there with friends. Though one time it was way too sweet—maybe the chef got a little too generous with the sugar that day? 😅 Recently, I noticed they added Braised Beef Short Ribs to the menu—so delicious! You can really taste the quality of the beef, with a subtle creamy aroma. But hey, if the owner happens to see this: any chance we could trim the fat just a bit? Asking for my waistline’s sake! 😂 And here’s a bonus: After a late night out at Horror Nights, I was thrilled to find out they’re open until 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. There's something so comforting about being greeted by a hot bowl of noodles in the middle of the night—definitely bumped this place up another notch in my book! 🌙❤️ #LAFood #KoreatownEats #LALateNightEats #LosAngelesFood #ComfortFood #NoodleLover
