Los Angeles | Agnel d'or🍽️✨
It's hard to believe that a 7-course French meal priced under $500 already includes beef in two of the starters! The fish main course features ribbonfish, and the meat main is even Wagyu beef! 🥩🐟 Even though Agnel d’or has its issues—seasoning tends to be too salty, sometimes understaffed service, ventilation problems, and almost no cell signal inside—it’s honestly hard to complain too much. At this price point, you really get more than you pay for! 💫 Wagyu Terrine with Beef Tartare: The beef broth is incredibly rich, just like homemade beef shank soup! 🥣 The portion of diced Wagyu is generous, though eating it cold makes the fat slightly noticeable. A quick sear to release the aroma would make it even better! 🔥 Eggplant Somen Noodles with Wagyu and Radish Threads: It’s delicious, no doubt—but I’ve been eating eggplant and somen noodles almost every day lately, so I’m getting a bit tired of the combo 😅. Ribbonfish: While pan-frying, the whole dining room filled with that nostalgic scent of ribbonfish being cooked—a mix of fragrance and fishiness that really took me back! 🐟❤️ A surprisingly delightful dish, much more interesting than the usual sea bass in Western cuisine. Just a bit less salt in the marinating process, please! 🧂 Miyazaki Wagyu: So tender and flavorful! The beef itself is superb, and the red wine sauce has a sweet-and-sour spare rib vibe. The accompanying pickled lotus root slices cut the richness perfectly! 🌱 Black Truffle Milk Pudding: The truffle aroma was faint—could barely smell it even up close—but the milk pudding itself was smooth and pleasant. 🍮 Ratings & Awards: Tabelog 4.00, Bronze Award, Michelin One Star ⭐️ #Michelin #OsakaFrenchCuisine #FoodDaily #FoodExploration #100RestaurantsChallenge #LocalFoodRecommendation #GlobalFoodieWanderer #FrenchDining #WagyuLover #FineDining #FoodReview #HiddenGems #LuxuryDining
