Los Angeles 9.99 Linyi-Style Stir-Fried Chicken! 50 for Four Dishes🐔

A little while ago, I took my mom to Hong Kong Plaza in Rowland Heights. Some people might not know yet – the supermarket there has been renamed and recently reopened after renovations! 🛒✨ The new interior is much brighter and cleaner. After we finished shopping, it was just mealtime, so we decided to grab a bite nearby. We spotted the Shandong-style restaurant next door – East Town Yard Fried Chicken. I’d seen online that they have a lunch special: Linyi-style stir-fried chicken for just $9.99! 🍛🔥 With that kind of value, we had to give it a try. I think the $9.99 Linyi-style chicken is totally worth it. The portion and flavor don’t feel like a discounted dish at all – they’re very generous with the chicken, which comes in small bone-in pieces that are super flavorful. Highly recommend going for their weekday lunch! 🥢 Besides the chicken, we also took the server’s recommendation and ordered a few side dishes. Overall, the portions are solid – no skimping here! 💯 We also got the Duck & Century Egg Noodles. The texture was really refreshing – the century egg and preserved duck egg mixed together with a specially seasoned sauce – very appetizing! 🍜🥚 Two-Egg Spinach Soup – both my mom and I loved this one. It’s a great pairing with the stronger flavors of Shandong cuisine. The spinach was cooked just right – not mushy – and the salted egg yolk and century egg gave the broth a delicious savory taste. We had several bowls! 🥬🍲 Taro & Sweet Potato Balls: Perfect as a dessert to finish the meal. The balls are fried crispy outside and soft inside, with a natural sweetness from the taro and sweet potato – and not too greasy! 🍠💜 We ordered these four dishes between the two of us, and it came to less than $50. The portions were great too.
