Los Angeles actually has a Japanese izakaya
This week, I had a group dinner with friends and discovered that a former established ramen shop has been upgraded to an izakaya 🏮 The decor surprised me and gave me the feeling of being in Japan. 🌟 As a starter, we ordered the king mushroom steak that’s even better than meat – how can it be so creamy? It’s a mushroom lover’s dream! We also tried a sweet and fresh scallop dish topped with caviar, served with a little sauce that was very appetizing. 🌟 We ordered Ginza sushi and Okinawa Sashimi – the presentation is truly loveable 😍 And the freshness is visible to the naked eye; it’s impeccable in both appearance and taste. Since there was no sea urchin or sweet shrimp that I love in the set, I ordered them separately – they were so fresh and sweet. 🌟 The signature fried fish they recommended isn’t on the menu, but it’s so crispy and tasty – it’s a flavor I’ve never tasted before! Just looking at the scallion slices on top, you know it’s going to be delicious. Eating it was indeed a pleasant surprise at an izakaya. 🌟 I didn’t expect the transformation of the old shop to be so successful. Both the storefront and the menu choices are a feast for the eyes! Plus, the value for money is great, especially during happy hour. The restaurant also has many cute hand-drawn menus. ☺️ #Tonight’sDinner #IzakayaFood #MyTreasureFoodCollection #EatingAndDrinkingIsSeriousBusiness #FeastOnTheTongue #JapaneseCuisine #FoodPhotography #LosAngelesFood #LosAngelesDiningExploration #JapaneseIzakaya
