Los Angeles Courtyard Vibes Thai Restaurant – The Silver Lake House 🌿
If you're all about flavor, Thai Town definitely has top-tier spots, but this place holds its own with solid food—plus the location and ambiance are major wins! 🏡✨ Heard evenings are extra atmospheric, but we loved having the courtyard to ourselves at lunch—so peaceful! Here’s my honest take: 🌟🌟🌟 Dusty Thai – Super crispy fried pork, marinated with lime—tangy and savory! The coating is thin and crunchy, served with fried onions and basil for a fragrant kick. 🐖🍋 🌟🌟🌟 Pad Thai Boran – The best Pad Thai I’ve had recently! Perfectly cooked with balanced seasoning—noodles were flawlessly separated. 🍜🔥 🌟🌟 Green Curry – The sauce was a bit thin but well-spiced, with rich coconut flavor. Sadly, the beef was too tough—stick with chicken or pork here! 🥥🚫🐄 🌟 Tom Yum – Really disappointing—sour, salty, spicy, and sweet all clashing. Wish I’d ordered the recommended spicy pork soup (Tom Zaap) instead. 😖 Verdict: The Pad Thai is totally worth trying! I still want to go back for dishes like Larb Duck, Papaya Salad, and Dessert—we were too full this time! Just remember: avoid the beef—choose chicken or pork! 🦆🥗🍨 #100RestaurantChallenge #LosAngeles #LALife #LAEats #LAFood #LARestaurants #LAFoodReview #DowntownLA #LA #LAFoodie #LAWeekends #ThaiFood #CourtyardDining
