Los Angeles Food|LA Paella Spanish Seafood Rice 🥘🇪🇸

A 25-year-old authentic Spanish restaurant, LA Paella, is located on St. Vincente Blvd near Beverly Center. The interior decor is super cute—perfect for dates or a girls’ get-together! 💕 The four of us ordered a bunch of appetizers: Baked snails, grilled octopus, clams, white wine mussels, and chilled eggplant salad. The mussels were incredibly fresh and sweet—highly recommend! The others were just okay, nothing special. 🦞 There are several types of paella, with a minimum order for two people. You can even add socarrat (crispy bottom crust)! We tried two kinds: classic marinara and squid ink with octopus. Personally, I preferred the squid ink one—more flavorful—though the color made it a bit hard to eat visually 😂. I think it tasted better because it had more variety of small seafood. 🍷 Almost every table orders sangria, but I thought theirs was just average. We were too full for dessert, so not sure how those are—planning to go back next time to try different appetizers! Have you tried Spanish paella in LA? Which version is your favorite?
