Met up with a close friend in LA for the perfect catch-up day! ππ After enjoying some refreshing shaved ice in Pasadena (which I mentioned earlier - so good! π§), we continued wandering through the charming streets and spontaneously decided to have dinner at Sushi Roku. π£β¨ I know it's a chain restaurant, but let me tell you - the food was absolutely fantastic and the fish quality was seriously impressive! ππ Every piece of sushi melted in our mouths, and the presentation was beautiful. My ultimate favorites of the night were definitely the ramen and the fried rice. The crab fried rice was incredibly fragrant with generous, juicy chunks of real crab meat π¦π - each bite was pure heaven! And the ramen broth? Seriously delicious β rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being too salty. ππ« Also, can we talk about this amazing mocktail? (I forgot the exact name, but it's the first one on their menu!) Made with fresh cucumber, mint, pineapple, and other delightful ingredients β I'm a huge cucumber lover, so this was the perfect refreshing drink for me! π₯ππ§ So light and revitalizing!
