Los Angeles French Dining Review | 🇫🇷 Citrin 🍽️
After several days of Chinese food, I was in the mood for something different. After enjoying the sunset drive in Santa Monica, I decided to try a one-Michelin-star French restaurant nearby. The Tasting Menu included five courses, plus dessert, which was the perfect amount—filling but not overwhelming. 🥣 It was quite a pleasant surprise! -First- ✨ Egg Caviar 🥚 The caviar was generously spread over a soft-boiled egg, served with cauliflower puree 🥦 and lemon cream 🍋. The combination was refreshing and not at all greasy. It was quite delicious! I also highly recommend the Scallops 🐚; they were fresh and perfectly paired with a special sauce. -Second- ✨ Lobster Bolognese 🦞 The lobster pasta is a must-order! The pasta was topped with a slightly salty truffle foam 🫧, which added a nice touch to the dish. -Third- ✨ Marcho Farms Veal 🍖 The steak was quite good, but not overly impressive. I was already quite full when I started, so I could only manage a few bites. -Fourth- ✨ Red Berry “Vacherin” 🍓 ✨ Dark Chocolate “Mille Crepe” 🍫 For dessert, there was a raspberry white chocolate mousse and a chocolate cake, both served with ice cream 🍦. Both were delightful! #FrenchCuisine #ElegantDining #AmbianceRestaurant #LAFood #SantaMonica
