Los Angeles Hidden Gem Japanese Restaurant 🍣✨
IKI Ramen doesn’t just serve ramen—they also have a hand-roll sushi bar! I’ve tried both, so here’s my take! 🍜❤️🍣 . IKI Nori Sushi Handroll Bar When my friend and I walked in, we thought, “Hmm… is this place meant for Americans?” 😅 The space is small, with everyone seated around the counter. 🐟 Seared Red Snapper Nigiri – Really good! 💛 Scallop Uni – The plating was cute, but the sauce was a bit too tangy for me. My friend loved it though! 🍣 Salmon Truffle Handroll – Recommended by the server. Pretty and tasty! Not sure if it was truffle butter or mayo torched on top, but wrapped in nori, it hit the spot. 🍣 Toro Nigiri – So fatty I thought it was wagyu for a sec lol! 🐟🔥 🍣 Seared Hamachi Toro – Topped with spicy crunchies… way too salty for me. Not recommended. They used soy paper instead of nori, which felt a bit unnecessary. 🍸 Matcha Martini – Pretty creamy! But honestly, the drinks here are super strong—maybe a little too generous! 🍹💚 🍺 Ume Highball – Same thing. Only when the ice melted did it taste right to me. ⚠️ Overall, this place has a fusion style. If you prefer traditional or lighter flavors, maybe think twice! 🎌✨ . IKI Ramen Located in Ktown! I often order their Iki Sushi Combo. 🍜 Burnt Garlic Tonkotsu – It’s been a while, so I don’t remember exactly, but I recall it being tasty though a bit heavy if you eat too much. 🍰 Sesame Mousse – Not too sweet! Definitely recommend! 🍮👌 #LADining #100PlacesToTry #LAJapaneseFood #LAHiddenRestaurants #LASushi #RamenLove #FoodieReview #KtownEats #SushiBar #HandRolls #MatchaCocktail #CozySpot #UniqueFlavors #LAFoodScene
