Los Angeles Indoor Climbing Gym 「HAPIK」🧗🏻‍♀️

This week, no mountain climbing—just wall climbing! 🧗‍♀️ The climbing gym is called Hapik, located in South Gate, about a 20-minute drive from Downtown LA. I saw it recommended by other users as a great place to take kids, so I thought it wouldn't be too challenging. Haha, I dragged my partner to give it a try! 🚗 We booked a session online for 10:30 a.m. Adults pay $21.9 for 90 minutes of climbing, and kids under 5 are $14.9. No open-toed shoes are allowed, but no need to bring any gear—they provide everything! Our session had a group of parents with their well-behaved and polite kids having a party. It felt like we were the only two "big kids" there. Haha! The front desk lady said weekends are busier with kids, but weekdays are quieter. 🤣 After checking in, the staff helped us gear up and gave a quick intro on how to climb and how to descend safely. Then we were ready to climb! The gym isn't huge, but it has tons of climbing routes with different levels of difficulty. You can pick the ones you like! By the end, my arms were so sore that even holding my phone was a struggle. 🥺 ❣️Overall, it was super fun!
