Los Angeles Japanese Soufflé Pancakes | Gram Cafe & Pancakes 🥞✨
Visited a Japanese soufflé pancake spot in Monterey Park today! I’d tried another soufflé pancake place in LA before and loved it, so I had high hopes for this one too. 💫 🥞 Cool Premium Pancakes The pancakes are pre-made and chilled, with different flavored fillings sandwiched inside. I picked four flavors: Strawberry, Matcha, Oreo, and two Purple Sweet Potato. Single price: 6, but a box of five costs only 24—basically four for the price of five! Taste-wise, they’re pretty good—like thick cream-filled bread. 🍓🍵🍪🍠 🥞 Mango Pomelo Pancakes – $18 A seasonal special, and luckily available today! Two layers of fluffy, soft pancakes topped with mango sauce, fresh mango chunks, and pomelo. Served with whipped cream and a scoop of mango ice cream—so delicious together! 🥭🍦 🍛 Wagyu Curry Beef – $21 They also serve savory dishes! We ordered the Wagyu curry—plenty for two people. You can choose the doneness: medium or well-done. We went with well-done, but the Wagyu turned out a bit tough—medium might’ve been better. Comes with white rice (a bit firm), curry, and a runny poached egg. Tasty overall, but not mind-blowing. 🥩🍚🍳 ☕ Crème Brûlée Latte – $7.50 Layered with crème brûlée foam on top, coffee in the middle, and milk at the bottom. The foam is rich and eggy—so good! Make sure to mix well, or it can taste bitter. 🥛🔥 ☕ Dirty Ube Latte My friend ordered this—pretty nice too! 💜 Overall, it’s worth a try, though a bit on the pricey side. 💸 📍 Gram Cafe & Pancakes 500 N Atlantic Blvd Suite 179, Monterey Park, CA 91754 Have you tried soufflé pancakes or a sweet-and-savory cafe like this?
