"This place feels like a planet forgotten by God – lonely yet romantic." Joshua Tree National Park – everything here seems like it's from another world. 👽🌌 We set off at 8:30 AM from Beverly Hills and arrived in about 2 hours. Since our guests planned to visit Palm Springs on the way back, we entered through the West Gate (Joshua Tree Visitor Center) and exited through the South Gate. The park is huge – it’s a good idea to grab a map at the entrance or just follow the main road to explore. 🗺️🚗 📍 Hidden Valley – A maze of giant boulders and clusters of Joshua trees. Against the backlight, the Joshua trees seem to come to life, dancing gracefully. 💃🌳 📍 Cholla Cactus Garden – A garden of cacti that looks more like dancing coral 🪸. So beautiful, but be careful – their spines are sharp! Don’t try to touch them, and watch out for fallen cactus balls on the ground. 🚫🌵 📍 Arch Rock – Featuring a natural arch formation and a heart-shaped rock trail. ❤️🪨 📍 Skull Rock – A skull-shaped rock formed naturally by erosion. 💀🪨 📍 Keys View – A popular sunset spot where you can overlook the entire Colorado Desert. The views are breathtaking at dusk! 🌅🏜️ “The loneliness of the desert offers a romance that the city can never give.” The beauty of Joshua Tree is something only those who’ve been there can truly understand. ❤️ Exiting the South Gate leads directly to Palm Springs. We also visited Indian Canyons – with its “pants-wearing” palm trees 🌴, it’s like an oasis in the desert. Traveling through the American West makes you marvel at the artistry of nature.
