Los Angeles Solo Lunch Review

Since I travel across LA County for work, I’ve rounded up some of my go-to lunch spots—mostly Asian cuisine—all quick (since my lunch break is only 30 minutes!). I’ll add a photo for each spot in order, and this list will be updated regularly. Great Tiger Ramen 🥢 Location: Long Beach Service Speed: Super fast—just a few minutes on workdays at noon. Price: ~$20 A Chinese-style ramen shop that also serves fried rice and sesame chicken. I ordered the signature red ramen, which tastes similar to Ramen Nagi, but I prefer this one! Ramen Nagi’s miso flavor is too strong for my taste, while this place hits the perfect balance. Highly recommend! E@cup (One Bite) 🍱 Location: El Monte Service Speed: Instant Price: ~$10–13 My go-to bento spot! For just $11, you get 3 dishes + 1 soup—huge portions and delicious flavors. I eat here almost every week! Fen Ai Mian Potato Noodles 🍜 Location: Rowland Heights / SGV / K-Town Service Speed: ~10 minutes at noon on workdays Price: ~$15–20 The perfect noodle and rice combo—addictive! Comes with a free drink, and the portion is just right for one person. Banh Mi My Tho 🥖 Location: Alhambra Service Speed: A few minutes Price: $7–10 per person Their Vietnamese sandwiches are so good—fragrant and satisfying! At only $7–8, you can enjoy a meal under $10. They also have coffee and pastries, and if you don’t like bread, try their fried egg rice! Love it! Pro tip: They only accept cash. #LosAngelesLife #LosAngelesFood #LAEats #SoloLunch #LAFoodie
