Los Angeles Travel Hotel Guide: Westwood Edition šØāØ
Staying in Westwood means youāre close to UCLA, surrounded by great food, and the area is relatively clean and safe. Iāve stayed at two hotels hereāone during last yearās Spring Festival, and loved them both! Each is uniquely beautiful and full of character. š š Plaza La Reina This hotel radiates Spanish charm! I originally booked it because of the gorgeous little garden, and it did not disappoint. The next morning, I took some photos there before leavingāso picturesque! If you stay on the second floor, the view must be even better. Though the hotel is small, itās beautifully designed. The lobby is cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with attention to detail everywhere. At night, the main gate is locked, and you need a key card to enterāvery secure. And the rooms? They come equipped with pots, pans, a microwave, fridge, and even a dishwasher! So convenientāwe made our own breakfast there. š³ā If youāre driving, thereās a three-story parking structure right next to the hotel. Super handy, and I remember it being around $20 per day. ššØ š Palihotel This one is just diagonally across the street, with an adorable little garden at the entrance. I discovered it on Xiaohongshu last year! But heads upāthereās one big drawback: no elevator š Youāll have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. The toiletries are by Diptyque, and the room decorāespecially the windows on the first floorāis lovely. Both hotels are around $300 per night, and Iād definitely recommend them!
