Louisville Hidden Gem Restaurant Recommendation ๐๐โจ
Driving from #Ohio to #Tennessee and made a stop in #Kentucky for food โ and stumbled upon this amazing #HiddenGem! โ No regrets โ only delicious discoveries ๐. ๐ฝ๏ธ Chik'n & Mi ๐ 1765 Mellwood Ave, Louisville, KY 40206 Hereโs what we tried ๐๏ผ 1๏ธโฃ Asian Fried Freebird Chicken (Hot Jeaw Bong) Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside ๐! The Hot Jeaw Bong sauce is sweet and spicy (leaning sweet). We also asked for extra X-Hot seasoning ๐ฅ. Next time, Iโm going full X-Hot! 2๏ธโฃ Pork Belly Steam Buns Looked a bit dry at first glanceโฆ but surprise! ๐ฅ It was so tender and juicy โ literally burst with flavor ๐ฅน. The cucumber balanced the richness perfectly. Every ingredient belonged โ no extras, no waste. 3๏ธโฃ Bonito Fries Fries topped with delicious sauce and bonito flakes ๐! Tasted like takoyakiโฆ but with fries instead of dough balls. Great flavor, but sauce lovers might want an extra dip on the side. 4๏ธโฃ Miso Pork Ramen (Garlic Lover) A solid bowl of ramen ๐! Wasnโt expecting such an authentic-looking serve outside a dedicated ramen shop. Not quite top-tier, but definitely above average ๐. Garlic boost was a win! If youโre passing through Louisville, donโt miss this spot! And if youโre interested in guides to #MammothCave, #Nashville, or #Chattanooga โ follow for more!
