Lunch Break Squad | Carbs and Savory Goodness in One Meal 🍤🥟

This noon, our four-person team discovered a newly opened Cantonese restaurant. Though we only had an hour for lunch, we managed to enjoy a rich and delicious meal in just 45 minutes—it felt like attending a small-scale banquet! 👇 🐟 Salted Fish and Chicken Tofu Pot This dish was still sizzling when served! The tofu absorbed the savory taste of the salted fish and was so tender it was hard to pick up with chopsticks. The tender chicken pieces hidden inside were like digging for treasure. Mixing the sauce with rice was incredibly satisfying, and everyone couldn’t help but have an extra bowl. 🍤 Salt and Pepper Shrimp The shrimp shells were fried until crispy, making them enjoyable to eat whole. The shrimp meat remained springy and flavorful, with the salt and pepper seasoning perfectly distributed. We even licked our fingers clean to savor every bit of the taste. The lingering savory aroma made our afternoon typing feel more delightful. 🥟 Shumai & Soup Dumplings Both were freshly made and steamed. The shumai had thin wrappers and were generously stuffed, topped with a whole shrimp. The soup dumplings burst with rich broth in the first bite—remember to sip the soup first and be careful not to burn yourself! The two steamers were emptied in no time, with everyone, including the girls, fighting for the last piece. The meal was not only quick but also left a deep impression with its delicious flavors. If you work nearby, why not give it a try and enjoy a delightful lunch break? 📍 Address: 4410 SE 82nd Ave Ste 1000 Portland, OR 97266 #LunchRecommendation #CantoneseCuisine #QuickLunch #FoodDiary #PortlandEats #SavoryDelights #TeamLunch
